The 22nd Annual Multicultural Festival will be held in the Uptown Lexington Historic District on May 5th from 10:00 am - 5:00pm.The day will be filled with the sights, sounds and tastes of foreign lands, and offers a wonderful and educational outing for the entire family! The event showcases cultural diversity through elaborate costumes, musical instruments, exhibits and entertainment, and features a Naturalization Ceremony where people can became US citizens. There are 5 main cultural villages highlighted: Latino, African, European, Asian, and Native American, as well as additional exhibits.
Fantastic 4th Celebration
Every July 4th, thousands of people travel from all over the region to attend Lexington's Fantastic 4th Celebration at the Davidson County Fairgrounds! Admission is FREE, and concessions and amusements are available for purchase. Lauren Light will be performing this year, and the highlight of the festival each year is the evening fireworks display!
