The Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Lexington provides athletic programs, special events and recreational activities for all ages throughout the year. The department also operates and maintains 21 parks, offering a wealth of outdoor fun including playgrounds, pickleball/tennis and basketball courts, walking trails, athletic fields, green spaces and aquatic parks.
