PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the City of Lexington is operating under a State of Emergency declaration. To remain consistent with limiting physical interactions and the potential spread of COVID-19, the regularly scheduled Monday, August 10, 2020 City Council meeting will be held electronically. The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.

Anyone who wishes to speak during Petitions from Citizens should sign up in advance by 4:00 p.m. on August 10, 2020 by contacting Emily Michael at ERMICHAEL@LexingtonNC.gov or 336-248-3910. Please provide the following information:
- First and last name
- Address
- Comment
- Telephone Number
Persons who are unable to sign up prior to 4:00 p.m. may submit written comments by emailing CityAdmin@LexingtonNC.gov. Those comments will be read into the record, if received prior to the expiration of the public comment period.

Lexington City Council holds regularly scheduled meetings on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 28 West Center Street, Lexington. The months of July and December are exceptions due to holiday schedules.
Anyone who needs an accommodation to participate in the meeting should notify City Administration at 336-248-3910 at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting or call North Carolina Relay at 1-800-735-8262.
The agenda and minutes for the meeting are posted online here. If you are a new visitor, there is an option to “Register” to the left of the search bar, which allows citizens to receive an email when an update to online agenda information is posted to the website.
The agenda is routinely posted on Friday before the meeting date. The minutes must be officially approved by City Council; therefore, minutes are posted once reviewed and approved by City Council at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
