24th Annual Multicultural Festival
May 2nd • 10:00 - 5:00
Are you ready for the 24th Annual Multicultural Festival? We will see you on May 2 from 10:00 - 5:00 in Uptown Lexington! This festival is FREE to the public, and allows you to experience the world through traditional food and attire, live music and performances, cultural exhibits, and more.
The festival focuses on five major cultural areas: African American, European, Asian, Latino, and Native American, with many nationalities represented within them. Stages will feature live music and entertainment from around the world. Kids can enjoy inflatables and amusements as well as other vendors.
The event is held between 2nd and 4th Avenue in Uptown Lexington, and utilizes the Breeden Insurance Amphitheater as one of our performance stages! Come be transported through a sampling of cultures and heritages that make up our community! The Multicultural Festival is a day filled with the sights, sounds and tastes of foreign lands. This event offers a wonderful and educational outing for the entire family and showcases cultural diversity through elaborate costumes, musical instruments, exhibits and entertainment. This festival is free to the public, and attracts thousands of people, from Davidson County and surrounding cities and states. This is THE must-see event of 2020, and was voted as the BEST EVENT IN DAVIDSON COUNTY in the 2019 Reader's Choice Awards! Check out some photos from last year's event on Facebook.
