City Council meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month

Be Prepared for Entrance Screening

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. - Entrance on First-come, First-served Basis  
 

Screening is required prior to entering the building, during the period in which COVID-19 protocols are in place or until further notice.

  • On-site screening questionnaire 
  • Perform a temperature check
  • Provide information for contact tracing

Anyone who needs an accommodation to participate in the meeting should notify City Administration at 336-248-3910 at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting or call North Carolina Relay at 1-800-735-8262. 

The agenda and minutes for the meeting are posted online here.  If you are a new visitor, there is an option to “Register” to the left of the search bar, which allows citizens to receive an email when an update to online agenda information is posted to the website.
