The May 19 special meeting of the Human Relations Commission has been canceled.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Lexington Human Relations Commission (HRC) will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in Council Chambers located at City Hall, 28 West Center Street, Lexington, North Carolina.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the following:

• Discussion to consider New Bylaws
• Recap – Health Equity Planning Meeting from April 4, 2022
• Updates concerning
  • Scholarships: High School and Summer Camp Lexington Parks and Recreation
  • Juneteenth Invitation to participate
  • Review Multicultural Festival
  • Review of South Lexington School Teacher Appreciation and Student Ice Cream Party
