Lexington City Council Member John Horne has announced that he will resign his seat on the City Council effective April 1, 2018. Horne made the announcement at the end of the City’s Annual Planning Retreat.
Horne, who was elected to the City Council in November 2015, took office December 2015.
He served as Ward 6 Councilman and is active in the community, having served as a member of Lexington Yellow Jackets Boosters Club, Lexington Appearance Commission, Utilities Commission, Lake Thom-A-Lex Advisory Board, and Kiwanis Club. He and his wife, Lisa, are active members at First Presbyterian Church.
