Demolition of Dixie Smokestack to begin as early as Monday, December 17th
One of the largest fires in Lexington history occurred in December 2017. Demolition continues to clean up the mounds of brick and twisted metal that once was Dixie Furniture.

Tree Identification Signs Installed
Trees at Grimes Park now bear tags that explain more about them. It is all part of a project to educate visitors and citizens about the unique species of trees along the park's walking trail.
